What happens if I have trouble with my Lawn-Boy I purchased from you?
Each mower is test run to confirm proper operation before it is shipped, but we realize things sometimes do go wrong. We will do our very best to help you with any trouble you have. We are available via email and telephone to assist with any concerns or problems. In most cases, we can solve your problem and talk you through any trobleshooting.

Why are your shippping charges so high?
Shipping a Lawn-Boy is expensive. A push lawnmower is a large , bulky, heavy item. Most weigh between 70 and 85 lbs to ship, and the boxes I use are very large.

How long will it take to get my Lawn-Boy mower?
We usually ship all orders within three days of when the order is placed. Transit times via UPS vary, but you will be provided with a tracking number once your order ships.

In your reconditioning and restoring, do you replace any parts, or is it just a cleaning and repainting kind of thing?
The reconditioning process each mower goes through is both mechanical and cosmetic. Each mower is thoroughly tested to be sure it operates properly, and any necessary repairs are made.

Are there any guarantees or warranty?
I guarantee each mower to operate properly on arrival. There is no warranty. Replacement parts will be provided to correct any operational issues reported at delivery along with remote assistance to install any defective parts. In the event of an issue that can not be resolved, you can return the mower for a refund with prior authorization. Return shipping is at your expense.

Are there available parts somewhere?
Yes! Many parts are still available through Toro Lawn-Boy, especially for the newer machines. There are also many goods sources of parts on the internet.

How can I pay for my purchase?
I accept PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. If you use PayPal, you must be a registered user with a confirmed address.

Are your prices negotiable? You want a lot for these mowers!
My prices are not negotiable. Pricing for each machine is based on the model of the mower, condition, and what similar machines like it have sold for in the past. I also monitor the auction sites to make sure my prices are competitive.

What is the difference between a reconditioned mower and a restored mower?
In both cases, each machine is thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Any needed mechanical repairs are completed and worn parts are replaced to make sure the mower functions properly. In the case of a reconditioned mower the process ends here. A restored mower also includes cosmetic recondtioning including paint touch up or complete repainting as needed. A reconditioned mower is a good choice if you are looking for a mower for normal use. A restored mower is great for normal use or for display as part of a collection.

Do I need to have mechanical ability to own and maintain one of these mowers?
Mechanical ability and aptitude is very helpful if you plan to own and maintain a Lawn-Boy. Because these machines have not been produced since 2004, occasional repair and general maintenence can and should be expected. Basic mechanical skills and tools will be needed.
